Racing, Remembrance and Resilience
This past weekend, The Pebble Agency proudly sponsored a team of four drivers competing in the Race of Remembrance at Anglesey Circuit, Trac Môn… a gruelling 12-hour endurance race that brings together the motorsport community in support of Mission Motorsport, the Forces’ motorsport charity.
It was a weekend full of excitement, camaraderie and reflection, reminding us all why this event is so special.
As engines roared and the Welsh coastline provided its breathtaking and windswept backdrop, we were part of something much bigger than just racing. The Race of Remembrance is about honouring those who have served and sacrificed, and the atmosphere was one of shared respect and remembrance throughout.

Soggy bananas, seals and the Irish Sea
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Race of Remembrance weekend without a bit of fun thrown in. The Biathlon of Foolishness lived up to its name!
We got into our banana costumes and joined dozens of others, including French Maids, Aliens, and Mario Brothers in a mad dash around part of the circuit, down the hillside, into the Irish Sea for a quick dip, and back up to the track to finish in the pits.
At one point, a curious seal even popped its head up to see what all the commotion was about. Safe to say, it’s not something we’ll forget anytime soon!

Weathering the storm, literally
Sunday brought horrendous weather, but true to the spirit of endurance racing, the event went on. Drivers, teams, marshals and supporters all pulled together to make sure the race continued, proof of the resilience and community that define motorsport.
Our sponsored car faced some tough moments, with serious clutch and gearbox issues, but thanks to determination and teamwork, the team crossed the finish line. It was a proud moment after a long, challenging race.

A moment of silence
Perhaps the most powerful moment of the weekend came at 11am on Sunday, when every car lined up on the grid, engines off. A hush fell across the circuit as everyone - drivers, marshals, crew, and spectators stood together in silence.
It was a truly moving tribute, a shared moment of remembrance that brought home what this event is really about.
As we mark Remembrance Day today, the 11th November, we pause once more to remember all those who have fought and fallen.
Lest we forget.
