Starting the Journey with Google’s Power for Partners Programme
This month marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Leah, as she joins the latest cohort of Google’s Power for Partners programme - an inspiring initiative designed to champion the growth, confidence, and leadership of women in business.
After being nominated earlier this year, Leah was thrilled to learn that she had been selected to take part. Over the next nine months, she’ll be participating in a structured programme of mentoring, training, and connection-building, all hosted at Google’s London headquarters and delivered alongside a truly exceptional group of women.
About Power for Partners
Originally launched as an internal Google pilot, Power for Partners (often referred to as POWER) began with the goal of supporting women within the business through small-group mentoring. Participants were matched with senior women leaders across the company, engaging in open conversations on everything from career progression to personal development.
The success of the programme soon led to its expansion beyond Google, evolving into a powerful platform for external partners, agencies, and clients. Today, POWER is a cornerstone of Google’s commitment to inclusive leadership, offering women the space to grow, lead, and connect with peers across industries.
What the Programme Involves
The Power for Partners programme runs for nine months and includes:
Peer Group Mentoring: Each participant is placed in a small cohort led by a senior female leader. These monthly sessions foster honest, supportive conversations around leadership, identity, and personal growth.
Workshops & Leadership Training: Regular events and masterclasses held at Google HQ offer skills development, strategic thinking, and exposure to the wider Power network.
Community & Connection: The programme creates lasting networks across industries, enabling participants to build valuable relationships and broaden their horizons.
Why It Matters to Leah
As someone who has always believed in the value of mentorship, collaboration, and lifelong learning, joining POWER feels incredibly aligned with Leah’s own values, and with the work we do every day at The Pebble Agency. Leah is excited to gain fresh perspectives, step outside of her comfort zone, and be part of a programme that champions the progress of women in digital, leadership, and beyond.
She is also looking forward to sharing what she learns, both the big lightbulb moments and the small, actionable takeaways. Programmes like this don’t just benefit individuals; they ripple outwards, positively impacting our teams, clients, and communities.
Stay tuned for updates, reflections, and the tips and tricks Leah pick up as the year unfolds.
